17 years of experience and dedication to the cosmetology industry has provided Jay with master level skills and techniques that help place him and Salon J in a category all it's own.

Jay began his formal cosmetology education at the College of Cosmetology and Hair Design in Frankfort, but believes his true training and respect for cosmetology began as an apprentice where he learned that "doing hair was more than a job it was a trust and when anyone sits in your chair they are putting their trust in your hands, regardless if it a cut, color or conversation, they are putting trust in you."

Chad is a second generation stylist and the latest addition to the staff at Salon J. Chad has spent the majority of his life in a hair salon watching is father Jay and as a recent graduate of the Hair Design School in Louisville, KY., Chad brings along the knowledge, skills and experience necessary to produce the latest styles and techniques that are sure to provide you with the fresh new look you desire.
